2012 Summer Olympics
- The Aquatics Centre venue was designed by acclaimed international architect Zaha Hadid. It features a spectacular wave-like roof that is 160m long and up to 80m wide, giving it a longer single span than Heathrow Terminal 5.

2012 London Olympic Venues
- The BMX Track venue will host the Olympic BMX competition during the London 2012 Games. After the Games, the temporary seating will be removed and the BMX Track reconfigured to make it suitable for community use.

- The sporting facilities at Eton Manor will be the venue for Wheelchair Tennis during the London 2012 Games. During the Olympic Games, Eton Manor will have temporary training pools for participants in Aquatics events.

- The Hockey Centre located in the Olympic Park will have two separate pitches, one with spectator seating. After the Games the Hockey Centre will move to the north of the Olympic Park, joining a group of facilities in the area known as Eton Manor.

- During the London 2012 Games, the Velodrome will host Track Cycling and Paralympic Track Cycling. The design of the venue makes optimal use of natural light, reducing the need for electric lighting.

2012 Summer Olympics
- In 2012, Earls Court will be transformed into a spectacular Volleyball arena ready for the Games. From exhibitions and conferences to live music, Earls Court holds hundreds of events each year attended by visitors from around the world.

- At London 2012, Greenwich Park will host equestrian competitions, plus the combined running and shooting event of the Modern Pentathlon. Greenwich Park is London’s oldest Royal Park, dating back to 1433.

Summer Olympics
- The City of Coventry Stadium is home to Championship club Coventry City. The stadium will play host to 12 football matches during the Games, including the women's Bronze medal match.

- Eton Dorney Rowing Centre at Dorney Lake is a world-class venue that will be used for the Rowing events during the London 2012 Games. The venue’s existing facilities have been enhanced for athlete warm-up and Canoe Sprint events during the Games.

- Hadleigh Farm is owned by the Salvation Army. The venue covers a 550-acre site including beautiful grassland and woodland. Construction of the Mountain Bike course was completed in March 2011.
